Debate during Cyber24Day with the participation of Paweł Milart

Paweł Milart took part in the debate “KSC and NIS2. Many challenges, little time“, which took place on October 2, 2024 as part of the Cyber24Day event organized by Defence24.

Paweł Milart – attorney, Senior Associate at Elżanowski & Partners – was invited to share his observations on the current draft act amending the act on the national cybersecurity system, implementing the NIS2 directive.

During the debate, Paweł Milart argued that the current version of the amendment, although not devoid of desirable solutions, is a case of “gold plating”, i.e. excessive regulation of cybersecurity aspects in entrepreneurs’ business activities. The new regulations should shift the focus from formalities imposed on a wide range of entities to the introduction of legal measures that actually increase our cybersecurity.
